Great Game of Global Economics
Crude prices are soaring to the thundering levels. Food crises has been reported from the different parts of the world. Equity markets if not sinking then surely struggling. Billions of dollars has been gone in drain of millions of share traders and investors through out the world. US$ is sinking and Indian rupees is hammered by the frequent interference by RBI possibly on the pressure of ruling UPA collation backed by strong Exporters lobby. The worst cartel/consortium of the world is OPEC the body of oil exporters group, which control the production and pricing of Crude. Rest of the damaged is believe to be done by USA based big companies by speculating prices throe future and option trading to the un-expected higher levels. Since everything in this world have its limits, if something crosses its limits then reaction are bound to happen. West started converting their food crops to bio-fuels which resulted the ripple effects and all the countries reverted their business strategies and started protecting their food grains by taxing or banning export on food grains. Member countries of Opec must understand this, that they can sell crude but they can not grow food grains. They have to import food grains. Countries like Thailand, Vietnam heard to made cartel for exporting rice. The world leaders must sit across the table and sort out this before it goes out of the hand. We must not forget that danger of global warming issue which is seems to be left behind. US$ seems to be hit severely because of their domestic reasons like sub prime crises. In spite of having tremendous inflows of FIIs and FDIs rupee is still week. It seems our intellectual prime minister could not make impartial choice between FDI and FII. If an engineer from a technical institute can make scooter or car running on alternate fuel, don't you think this could have been possible long back by our great monopolized companies making scooters and cars for decades. IT was very much possible but no one intended to do. Why after the decades gas pipe lines has not been installed in the suburbs of Mumbai. To benefit Gas cylinder dealers and hotels/restaurants so that they can use subsidized kitchen cylinders. Actually not world oil prices, but our politicians are looting us.
